WSO2 Enterprise Integrator Documentation¶
WSO2 Enterprise Integrator (WSO2 EI) 7.x is an open-source hybrid integration platform that enables API-centric integration using integration architecture styles such as microservices or centralized ESB. The platform provides a graphical drag-and-drop flow designer and a configuration-driven approach to build low-code integration solutions for cloud and container-native projects.
The key concepts are for users who are new to WSO2 Enterprise Integrator and want to understand its functionality.
What can WSO2 Enterprise Integrator do?
Routing and Transformation
Supports content-based routing, header-based routing, rules-based routing, and policy-based routing. Transforms the message to different formats.
Restful Services and Orchestration
Exposes Restful services and has the ability to present multiple fine-grained services using a single coarse-grained service.
Messages can be queued and do not require an immediate response to continue processing.
Multiple connectors across categories such as payments, CRM, ERP, social networks, and legacy systems.
Lightweight runtimes for container-based deployments. Native integration with container-management platforms.
Integrate static and streaming sources in real-time and applies stream processing capabilities using data that is stored in files or in a database.
Change Data Capture (CDC)
Capture changes in datasources, databases, and files and act on them in real-time.
Enterprise Integration Patterns
Support for all enterprise integration patterns (EIPs) and common enterprise messaging scenarios.
